The Management Team at Aurora Children’s Centre is a dedicated, strong team of professionals committed to providing families with exceptional childcare services.
When you enroll your child with Aurora Children’s Centre, you as the parent/guardian enter into a partnership with us. You have made a statement of trust in the people who will care for your child.
Honest and open communication between you and the staff of the centre is ‘key’ in your child’s development. There will be many times where we share with you the wonderful milestones your child has achieved, and there may also be times when we need to inform you that your child is having difficulty reaching those developmental landmarks. As professionals, we promise to support all areas of development including social, cognitive and emotional.
We operate with an ‘open door’ policy and welcome any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have.
A Message from Our Executive Director, Sheryl Barton
I am honoured to join ACC as Executive Director and to begin this new chapter alongside the children, families, educators, and staff, Board, and broader community that make this organization so special.
With more than 20 years of experience in the early learning and childcare sector, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most fabulous children, families, Early Childhood Educators, community partners, and leaders across a variety of early learning environments. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the most profound and lasting impact that high-quality early year’s programs have on children’s development, well-being, and future success. I believe that when we invest in children, support the educators who nurture and guide them, and build strong partnerships with families and communities, we create the conditions for everyone to reach their full potential.
I am excited about the journey ahead, and look forward to getting to know our community, listening, learning and working together towards a bright future for our Centres
